What Developer do I Need to Dye Dark Brown Hair Light Brown?

My hair is about a level 2 dark brown, almost black. I’ve been using a box dye in level 6 light golden brown every 6-8 weeks for about a year. The color is close to what I want but, it’s very blah dull. I’m going to sally’s, what level developer do I need and should I choose a light brown or dark blond to get the results I want?

Try 20 volume. It should lift but deposit enough.

I think you might need to get your colour stripped im not sure thou… i think dar blond would be the best because then you could dye over it….i think your best bet is get it done at a salon and ask their opinion
return the favour…its only fair
