Thanks for that. It has just made nepheton and drumazon much more fun.

some vsts, like superior drummer 2.0, have the option of not only stereo out, but multi out, so you can have kick, snare, hats, etc returned to seperate tracks in your DAW, rather than mixed together from the vst into a stereo pair into your daw,

I think what are all these outputs? none of this makes sense to me. out 1-2 is the main output, which goes thru the computer speakers, right? where are the other outputs?
Comment by pablopablopablo22 — April 9, 2010 #
you don’t, Logic just does that to look more streamlined.

I think if you load the voicesample into exs24 and map it chromatically, then yes

if by record to track you mean “how can i drag the ultrabeat-sequencer-material into the arrange view, then look to the bottom left corner of the ultrabeat window and click onto the button next to pattern , and then move your mouse to the arrange view and you have your sequence as a midi region.

Fellas333 – To view the aux channels in the arrangement window, you need to set them to read. Just look at the channel strip in the mixer and you should see a little box saying OFF – left click and hold and select read, that should show the aux channel in the arrangement window.

I dig your videos.
My question is although you have full control over those different sounds now, what about when it comes to arranging those sounds, how can you record and view them in the arrangement window. It seems like there’s more to do to make this super beneficial??

I’ve never tried to get rid of the empty slots, but i don’t think it matters them being there – it doesn’t take any more memory up or anything
unless the reason you want them gone is because you have a small screen, then I’m not sure what you could do!

apple guys should pay you and should sell logic with a dvd with all this tutorials… it would be great

hahahahah! something i have been racking my brains over!!!!! i have a really small monitor since i use a mac mini and an outdated ibm screen. its like only 14 inches. so i always have to go to the mix window find out the effects on that channel since most of the effects are hidden by the inspector/ property window on the top right….. PLZ lemme know if you can find something out buddy!!!!!!

Great video,
i’ve got a problem with logic:
when u are working on a project you’ll have several instrumnets and each of them will have some effects on them, my problem is the instruments that i dont have effects on will have alot of empty effect slots.how do i remove the empty slots? anyone!?
