Sprint – Now network (4G)

arboppo asked:

New statistics-based approach for Sprint. Slickly produced and interesting enough to pay attention in a category that often produces bland, wallpaper communications. FOLLOW-UP: It’s interesting to see some of the comments, although if I didn’t know any better I’d suspect that some of the adulation for this ad might be coming from Sprint &/or their agency’s employees!

  3. I think you are incorrect. I live in Chicago and I use my laptop on train and in the car and 4G works just fine.

  5. Wimax is not 4G. LTE is 4G. That is what Verizon and ATT are both investing for. Do you think Sprint thought something better that world’s two of biggest networks didn’t yet? Also current 3G EVDO RevA gives you mobility as you are able to continue steaming or downloading while traveling in car. That is not an option in current Wimax technology.

  10. Palm Pre is using EV-DO Rev A. The only people with 4G are those with Wimax usb dongles or wireless routers.

  20. their calling Wimax, 4G

a real 4G network will have to offer you speeds of
    100mbps (download)

    Comment by Dekoomer — February 7, 2010 #

  21. I was also skeptical but I did cancel Verizon and switched to Sprint and I must say I am impressed. The speeds are super fast and Sprint is getting The Hero phone. Also I saved a shit load of money by doing so and now unlimited mobile mins to any carrier. If you switch you can get a $25.00 gift card. I pay less than $100.00 and with Verizon my bill was likke $140.00 or more. Sprint is better trust me. Hope this helps.
