well, this is an movie from 1976. True the internet is more powerful, and just like this guys says “the Tube is not the Truth”, well, it’s somewhat true, even if this is seen as a movie, there are movies and movies… and this movie is more factual that people sometimes see’s it.
And the internet, that appeared now, became more powerful, what if now they manage to do the same for the internet… We all have seen what has been happening between Google and China, get the point?

I think Peter Finch was in a hotel lobby about to promote Network on a morning talk show when he died of a heart attack. He was posthumously nominated for the Best Actor Oscar and won.

Howard Beale, if he were real, should be president. TV should be changed for the better or banned altogether. OK, maybe president is a little far fetched, but I would want such a person teaching in college….. or high school.

guys there´s no use in being chaotic, the situation is bad but the pesimist attitude will follow us nowhere,
everyone knows what they can do to change, don´t try to convince people on how to. True people will follow your example not your words. I think This is so prophetic. The nation is falling apart. There are two wars going on with no hope of withdrawl in the forseeable future. There is massive umemployment and it grows with each passing month. And all that’s on the news is what’s happening between Jon and Kate Gosslin and the boy in the balloon.

this is so true people, we have become so dependant on material things that we have lost ourselves. As long as the computer is working it will be fine or if we find we left out mobiles home we act like its the end of the world. We are the real thing. Cherish yourselves before any inanimate object.
