How do you remove a software that is manually deleted?

I wanted to install a new anti-virus software, but there is another software blocking it. i tried removing it using windows but the application wasn’t there. then i tried to uninstall it but the ‘ missing short-cut’ keeps showing. i manually deleted it by going into my computer and just delete the file. but when i tried to install the software again. it says that the software is still there. what am i suppose to do now?Submited by:Sylash_e6
