Is it better to install my internet browsers on my windows drive or my other drive?
Posted by printer - 13/04/10 at 07:04:43 pmI know it probably makes not much difference but I’d like to know anyway. Would my internet browsers (i.e. Chrome & Firefox) run faster with windows running in the background if it was on a different drive or the same drive? and visa versa?
What software is available to put restrictions on programs and games?
Posted by printer - 13/04/10 at 01:04:59 pmMy parents are concerned about my younger sibling’s use of the computer. They spend way too much time playing games. Are there any software available that allows passwords on software before opening the programs?
We all use the same user and having different users is not the solution. I need software to allow only certain programs. Fort Knox have a program that locks your files, but that isnt going to work.
Any ideas or free ware out there? Please let me know!

Hello all. I’m a Windows user, but I’d like to try out a Linux distro. I’m looking for an OS that has a similar GUI to windows and similar applications, with high compatibility with Windows programs. I was thinking of Ubuntu. Do you guys have any better suggestions? Thanks.
