What would cause my browsers to shut down, on certain webpages?

I’ve done a virus scan (there had been some malware found, but quarantined). I’ve done disk cleanup & cleanup of the browser’s themselves. So what could be causing this & how can I make it stop? If i switch web browsers will i get less spyware, adware, etc?

I currently use internet explorer. But i find that i get spyware and adware and have to constantly scan and clean out my computer. Would another program work better and not give me those problems. Like firefox? Any advice would be nice

Hello! Can anyone please help me with this question? Thanks! I am getting certified in Network Security from my school and should be finished within a month.
