How do I inexpensively winterize windows at my home?

Need advice of how do I inexpensively winterize windows and doors at my home? Thanks for any helpful advice.
I bought a few rolls of masking tapes as well as window selicon adhesive. Does that do the trick?

My Husband just started a new job installing cable , we are trying to figure out what tools we can use to barry cable . The cable must be barried 6 inches and using a shovel takes up too much time . Any ideas ????????

I have a cracked windshield on a ’97 Nissan Altima and I’m wanting to replace it myself instead of taking it to a professional. I need to know if anyone knows the tools that are needed for this job. I need to know as soon as possible.

I do some of my own repairs on my car. I have some tools that I have bought from the snap-on and mac trucks. They are expensive but great tools. Do you think I can get away with cheaper tools like craftsman or kobalt. Is the added expense of snap-on or mac tools necessary?Submited by:Penn
