How do I find out what legal duties my developer has towards my community?

We have a grassroots group of neighbors who are not fighting the development, but we are trying to save the parkland space next to it that belongs to the citizens. Our City has illegally swapped part of the parkland and we have forced a special election to take place next month so the citizens can vote on whether to reverse the land swap. But already the developer has begun bulldozing the parkland before the election! We can’t go to the City to get it stopped because our officials are on the developer’s side. They are the ones who voted to swap the parkland! We want to go before a county judge to request an injunction. Where do we start? Is there a certain legal paper we fill out? We don’t have money for an attorney. Please help quickly before all our space is ruined.

What options do a homeowners association have when a developer turns over the association incomplete?

The developer is pulling out because of the economy. We do not even bring in enough as an association to keep up on basic landscaping of common areas let alone open the pool this year. Is it blackmail if you tell your former employer you will tell the developer of false documents?

I feel I am owed several job bonuses that were earned. I was laid off because of the economy and now my former employer says that they will not pay it to me until I return to work for them when I’m needed.If I don’t, I will lose all of the bonuses. I want to tell them I will go to the developer and General Contractor and spill the beans if they don’t give me the bonus I deserve. Can I do this or is it like blackmail. Please advise.
